There are many places to visit in Cox’s Bazar. Himchari waterfall is much renowned out of them. Visitors can enjoy the real feel of this waterfall during rainy season. In winter it dwindles.
Himchari is just about 12 km away from Cox’s Bazar and it will take less than 20 minutes to get there. You can reach at that place by any sort of vehicles. To enter the zone, you’ll have to purchase tickets. Which is around 20 taka. There is just two places that you can visit. One is the waterfalls, and another is the highest point of the hill. This place is also ideal as picnic spot.
How to go: If you want to visit Himchari, you have to come Cox’s Bazar. It is located 12 km south of Cox’s Bazar Town and 6 km from the Kalatali beach. From Kalatali stand, it is about a 20 minutes ride by taxi or chandergari (local transport). You can also take CNG autorickshaw.
